Why clinicians choose Umps

Designed so they won't be abandoned
The greatest threat to your clients' safety is an alarm buried in a drawer—dismissed because it’s unreliable or a hassle to use. To solve this, we've spent years designing dependable, user-friendly personal alarms that empower, not frustrate.
Technology that welcomes all abilities
The Umps Home Alarm has been designed in partnership with older adults and has a range of accessible features to support people with different abilities.
Large textured buttons for limited hand mobility or dexterity
Straightforward audio and visual prompts from the base Hub
Different wearable styles including a wrist-worn option

Leave the setup to us
Our Australian-based team is here to help your client's get set up and feeling confident with their personal alarm.
After onboarding, we proactively monitor personal alarms to ensure they stay connected, immediately reaching out to address any loss of connectivity.
Monitored and non-monitoried solutions
Your clients have unique needs, preferences and circumstances, so we offer a variety of options.
When an alert is activated, an operator trained in first aid and emergency response will respond within 2 minutes. They will initiate the appropriate care, contacting family or emergency services if required and remain on the line with your client until help arrives. Read more in our article 'Choosing the Right Monitoring Option for a Personal Alarm'.
When an alert is activated, nominated contacts will receive an SMS with GPS location and then calls will be initiated in a pre-programmed sequence. You can record up to 5 nominated contacts. Read more in our article 'Choosing the Right Monitoring Option for a Personal Alarm'.

Advanced falls detection
At Umps, we have fine-tuned our falls detection to reduce false activations because the greatest threat to your client's safety is an unreliable alarm—one that’s inaccurate, frustrating and ultimately left unworn.
